Yote vs .40 S&W

He picked a bad time to cross the range.

20C99F13-924E-430A-8132-BB0895D831D2_zpsu4yrytmu.jpg

Trotting to the right at about 130 yards.....first shot turned him back to the left. Rolled him once somewhere around 140 yards. Got back up running. Rolled him again for good at 156 yards.

A good day on the range.

    Great shooting! That's awesome!
Aim higher, or get a bigger gun.

Long shots, small target for a pistol. Quite an accomplishment.

Barney the Dinosaur bullets? Nice shooting Z-Rex. Remind me not to tick you off. Now, that was one of the ugliest hogs I've ever seen.

Any deviation? Bones broken? Bullet shape after tunneling through that much muscle?

I regret to inform that I did not spend any time looking at it. It was a small sub-adult of diminutive size. Probably didn't give the ball ammo much trouble.

Wait a minute. Three shots from between 130 and 156 yards at a moving target and you connected three for three? That isnt good shooting that is EXCELLENT shooting. Practice ammo, what gun?

Dude. That is imfreakingpressive. I know that I can get close enough to make adult size targets very nervous at that range...

That dog is much smaller and on the move.

Was the 'yote aware that you were simply training, hence the purple ammo?

    Nice shooting!

Well, you were training! So training ammo was in order. You were training us on how to hit Yotes at long distance with a pop gun. Actually a .40 S&W ain't no Pop Gun. But that's some shooting for sure. I don't know if I'd have tried that with my S&W 586 .357 Mag. with 8 3/8 inch.

Now we gonna have to call you Wylee Slayer!

Good shooting - your credibility is well established, so you get a pass this time on posting pictures.
