What calibers do you reload for?

Big ChiefBig Chief Senior MemberPosts: 32,995 Senior Member
Gunwalker's thread got me thunking about reloading and what calibers I reload fer. Dang, it adds up over the years :guns::guns:

I reload for all my centerfire calibers, can't help myself. Even tried it for my Yugo 59/66 SKS 7.62X39 Russian.

Lets see I have dies for have and have reloaded for

7.62X25 (CZ52)
.32 ACP
.32 S&W(no gun currently though)
9X18 Mak
9X19 Luger/9mm
.38 spl/.357 mag
.44 mag/spl
.45 ACP
.45 Colt

.223/.5.56
.30 carbine
6.5 Swede
.308
.303 British
7.62X54R
7.5 Swiss
8X56R
8mm
45-70 Govt my latest...my last different caliber??????

I may have forgotten some, I dunno. I may have some 38 S&W (not spl) dies someplace??

Man, I gotta thunk long and hard about buying another gun in a caliber I don't already reload for.

OK, MAYBE a .41 Mag someday..............if the price is right....and then more dies/bullet diameters to buy, keep track of..............only a Gun Nut/Reloading Fool would contemplate more...............I keep an eye out though :guns: :guns:

There's probably 1 or 2 more/ different cartridges in my future.

    A faster 6.5 (6.5 Creedmore maybe???) and a faster 30 or 30cal+ (300WinMag)

    .30-06 Springfield
    .300 Weatherby Mag.
    .8x57 Mauser
    9.3x62 Mauser

There are a couple in my future that I plan on building, one a 6mm Remington (which I used to own and reloaded for before my first divorce), and the other I haven't made up my mind on. Maybe a 6.5-06.

I don't reload for my hand guns or shotguns as yet since I started reloading again back in 2007. I used to reload 20 and 12 gauge and .357-38 back in the day. I would like to get back to that and include 9x19mm and 45 ACP.

I had brass, dies, and a bit of ammo for 270 WSM but gave it away. Same with 458 win mag/458 Lott, 7mm RUM and .450 Marlin. It all went to good homes. There are over a dozen on that list that I don't have guns for or are not in the process of being built. Once I get caught up, I need to work on making that list smaller.

And some of those-- I only have 1 gun that shoots 45 Cowboy Special/45 Colt/454 Casull/460 S&W, for example, but I have all the different brass and can load for them all.
