You are living what many fantasize about

The past few years have been a blessing in regards to hunting. I've had plenty of offers and requests to cull and eradicate. It's not what you know..........it's who you know. I know some pretty cool and generous people.

I may not get to travel to exotic lands and hunt huge critters. I may not shoot trophy big game. But, I get to hunt year round just about and the meat never runs out. Yet.

I've got the Ruger Scout Rifle set up with the laser now. I'll go back tonight and see if anything else comes out. Though, I probably wont marathon it all night again.

Yeah. It's pretty much a given that I am going to cut myself to some extent while butchering

    Gotta keep you guys satisfied.

Yeah, 8 cut half that finger off with a hand crank meat grinder when I was a teen butchering a deer. Docs put most of it back on. After my later to be wife and friends gf dug it out of the grinder and took it to the hospital.

I have what they couldnt use on my bookshelf in a little bottle of Formaldehyde.

Makes for a polite way to give someone the "bird".

"Have I showed you where I cut my finger?" :middlefingerraised:

Nicely done! Are you sure some weird bald guy with bad teeth didn't try to bite that finger off? Also, does this mean you are a Carney Hobbit?

What do you do with all these pigs? Are they good to eat? How close are they to pork I buy in the store?

The big ones that I'm eradicating for farmers, I usually leave'em lay in the field. The smaller ones are good to eat.

I gave these two to my rancher friend and he took them to process.

An appropriate size wild pig is some of the best eating I've ever had.

Isn't it usually COLD when you hunt ducks?!?

You get 20 points added to your man-card for stalking barefoot in the stalks. How many are deducted for the Capri pants is being discussed in the mod-pit. It might not go too badly for you, since Zorba has set precedent.

Yep. BTW, we've got a new house since you were last here. It's a lot nicer, and Machelle still knows how to cook. So...if you're ever up this way again...just sayin.

And, Chris, since we moved I'm doing pretty much everything from my phone, which is a real pita. But, I'm still here. A lot. And I'm still keeping a close eye on you.

PS...which has cost me a small fortune in eye-bleach.
