My father is diabetic so I googled Dreamfield's to see if I could find it locally. I found the link I posted above. Basically it is no different than regular pasta. They were sued and they settled for $8M.
Diver, I'm sorry. I wasn't setting out to prove you wrong. I sure was hoping it was legit. My dad has problems controlling his blood sugar.

Thanks for the thread.
I've been doing the Medi-Weightloss program which is ultra-low calorie medically supervised diet. I lost 20lbs in 2 months and have now started gaining it back because I can't keep starving myself. So I was planning on doing the Atkins Diet and increasing my exercise back to 5 days a week. Just didn't have the energy to exercise on 900calories/day.

Started at 211, this morning I was 186.2, with my weight generally hovering between 183 and 186.

I'm trying a low-glycemic diet. Kind of like low carb but with whole grains and some fruits that Atkins won't allow. It's slower but a lot more tolerable.
And there's apps to show the glycemic index for different foods.
ETA: My doctor told me just this week that he likes this approach, and to stop worrying about how fast the weight drops. More important that I'm eating better and being more aware of the foods I eat. He says to think in months and years, not days or weeks.
