Way to go Chicago Cubs

WAY TO GO and CONGRATS TO THE CHICAGO CUBS! World Series bound and I'm hoping they win it. Not to mention my oldest son Mike played against Jake Arrieta in HS and played on the same traveling team with him during the summers. Not to mention it will be really cool to Jake when he pitches! GO CHICAGO!
Distance is not an issue, but the wind can make it interesting!

It has been a long time since either team won a world series. Since before some of us were born

Curse, shmurse. I will say this, though... If a guy shows up to the stadium with a goat in tow, let him in. :roll2:

I don't follow sports anymore, but I was a BIG Cub fan when I was a kid. Had my hopes dashed in the postseason a number of times. I'll be tuning in to this one. My Grandfather - a Chicago native and resident for all his 91 years - didn't live to see the Cubs win a World Series; I doubt ANYBODY living has seen this, and we're getting pretty short on people who were around in '45 to see them go and lose.

But yeah. . .sign of the Apocalypse?

    1. Obama
    2. Cub victory
    3. Hillary possibly going to the White House

I'm a Rockies fan, but it was clear for the last month or so of the season that the weren't going anywhere. Since then, I've been rooting for the Cubbies.

I hope they take it all.

Well...... you can tell I haven't watched baseball in a long time.

Did not know they had instant replay (besides home runs)
