road rage ranter back down in cloud of break dust when motorist pulls out gun

Staged or real, I dunno, but would be a really stupid way for both to behave.

Staged. If real the dumbass would be going to Jail here in NC. A blowhard running his mouth is no reason to point a gun at him.

Totally staged- - - -although a couple of forum members have had the situation happen for real, they just didn't get it on video. The aggressor was the first to show a firearm in at least one incident I can remember and just about filled his pants when the other driver responded in kind.

There's some kind of phenomenon going on with people driving. I don't fully understand it, but if the behavior persists progressively our society will become a very violent place.

Early is absolutely right. I witnessed something similar while on the way back from a gun show. Couldn't tell what gun it was as I observed from my truck through his rear window, but it was an extremely large revolver, not one you would conceal carry and he had ir right there in the car as it was brandished in a second. Makes me wonder if he was looking for trouble

People get accustomed to being rude and aggressive on internet sites, social media, etc., and seem to think they can get away with the same kind of behavior on the road. Even if a gun isn't involved, provoking someone with a 2 or 3 ton weapon handy probably isn't the best choice!

Yeah I don't know what's going on, people driving 70 in a 20mph zone, cutting you off , blowing there horns in a school zone, although I carry I'm not going to get in an altercation with some idiot, its safer to pull over and call 911

Considering the percentage of women who drive now compared to the 50's, there are maybe 3x times more drivers on pretty much the same amount of roads? That may have something to do it with it.

Yes, but not interchangeable. A clip can go inside a magazine or be used to fill a magazine.

This. And early said it as well. The anonymity of the internet, as well as being disconnected while in a car, lets people say and do things they wouldn't face to face. The possibility of getting your ass whipped is a great motivator to being polite and courteous.

A real wack job Tennessee state legislator got into a beef with a bunch of 18 wheelers on his way home to Memphis on I-40, and ended up firing several shots with a 9MM pistol at them out of the sunroof of his Mercedes. I don't know if he connected, but the matter got hushed up pretty quickly once his dummycrap buddies in Memphis got to the Highway Patrol. Not sure, but I believe "alcohol was involved"
