Double Lung Tonight

Tonight this old girl made a fatal mistake. She walked right under my stand, I went to pull back and she got a glimpse of me, instead of running to the next county she only ran about 20 yards and stopped to look back. This time I made a perfect double lung shot, I clipped her left lung and smoked her right, she still made it about 100 yards. (tough animals!) Another great blood trail made for an easy track job, even in the dark and better yet she ran straight to the road we come in on. I only had about a 10 yard drag to the truck. All all around perfect night in the stand.

Yes sir! Nice job capitalizing on the mistake. Once in a while, they make the rare hang-up and you get that shot. Great to hear that the you made a perfect shot and a short drag.
