All the baseboard is in, the sheet rock is painted, so it should be good for years, so what do I do????

Meet Elly. Full AKC Blab (black lab) and as sweet as they come.

So we picked up puppy chow, 2 kid gates, and more toys. I boarded up the bottom 2 feet of the closet I made, and spent the evening introducing her the the horses and the coyote. So far not to bad. She had a wee in the house, but she was looking to get away from the room, so I dont think house training will be bad. She didnt empty either, most of it went outside. She is pretty sharp, and very pretty/

FYI, Elly is short for Elvira.

    You sir, win the Internet.

    But you said.....coyote???
    I had a Black Lab
    then a Chocolate Lab
then the wife and daughters were selling Girl Scout Cookies, and brought home a Meth Lab. They said it was a German shepard, I said it wasnt. They asked what was it them, I said coyote. No idea what he is, looks like Husky mixed with boarder collie or any combination therein.

You mentioned you bought toys. Why waste the money? You've got fresh Sheetrock and trim for her to play with.

The toys are to save the Sheetrock and trim. She is a Labrador. She will find something to amuse herself. Hopefully that something isn't the furniture, trim, or drywall.

He probably behaves because he saw what happened to your pet pig.

You never saw a husky guard anything in 90f temps next to a charcoal roaster when there wasn't another motive. But he was there, "protecting" the pig.

My chocolate created my lucky hunting shirt. It was a LL bean quilted canvas hurricane shirt (Highly recommended http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/90119?feat=sr&term=hurricane+shirt ). He chewed the pocket flaps and one pocket off, a large part of the collar making it good for wearing while hunting because blood couldnt ruin it any more. Since I wore it hunting, it became my lucky hunting shirt.

That is what Dudley did when we brought Hershey home.

Hershey? We had a big yellow tabby cat named Hershey! He was lame, one front paw didn't work right - but that didn't slow him down at all!

Hershey is our chocolate Lab-- actually Joe's dog Remy's brother. Talk about an enable... jackass texted me photos of a litter of Labrador puppies. JB is a jerk!

Make sure you find that heart of yours she just stole, so you can still use it in the future. What a great looking pup. Here's to many years of adventures together.

Nothing like a new puppy. You can't separate a boy and his dog. They're bonded at first sight, and have each other's back for life.

That's was a pretty good enable. Got you to drive 4 hours, and buy a puppy you didn't know you wanted!

It's pretty hard to say no to a litter of lab pups!
