Range report. A day for the nines.

Took out the Beretta 92FS, the full size M&P, and the PT 709 with the new mag extensions. To my suprise, I don't find the Beretta or the Smith to have an edge over the other in the accuracy department. They both shoot equally well. No failures of any kind. No problems hitting minute of bad guy. This was all at 7 yards. Take into account I haven't had much range time in the last few years. These will do nicely.
On the Taurus front, I had to two fail to fire, one might have been my fault as I dropped on in the chamber and hit the slide release. Suspected light strikes and one fail to feed that caught on the feed ramp. Deciding on whether to add to the swap pile or send to Taurus. Looks like the M&P is the front runner for duty. Nothing wrong with the 92fs at all and I do enjoy it once it's in SA mode, but the M&P is more comfortable.
Beretta
M&P
All three.

Last few threads about going to the range make me want to load up some target .45 and take the 97B out.
Sounds like a good range day and fum with 2 of the 3. :guns: :guns:

I'd rather have my sister work in a whorehouse than own another Taurus!
I have two stock Beretta mags and two Mecgar mags, all 17 rounders. All functions and drop free.
The M&P has two 10 rounders and my awesome stepdaughter bought me two Promag 17 rounders from Midway. All work. Good day other than the Taurus hiccups, but I am skilled enough to tap rack bang if I have to, just not going to rely on it unless I have to.
Oh and a funny. I went to Calebas and grabbed some ammo. One box of what was labeled 115gr jhp....when I got to the range, it was ball. Not a huge problem. They swapped it out, but I checked a a few others went I went back. Someone was greedy. For literally a couple of bucks. SMH.
