Why don't vendors include weight in their specs

Midway's advertising a "lightweight" barrel for the AR. It's new, seems to be a good price, lists twist, material, gas block diameter, finish, an incorrect gas system length, all sorts of stuff.
Except for weight.

I've noticed other vendors do this sporadically, if at all. Seems to me if a person's speccing out a firearm for building, weight for some would be kinda important.

Well, if enough people called on a regular basis asking for that data then maybe they'd see the need to start listing it! :rotflmao:

A 14.5" barrel isn't 14.5" from the receiver threads it's that length from the breechface which is inset from the breech of the barrel extension.
With the plethora of options regarding hand guard lengths and people wanting various aesthetic configurations knowing these technical details is desirable.

They either KNOW it's too heavy, (or light) and their excluding the information is attempting to
E-screw you with a lie by omission, OR the happy little terds advertising this stuff just have NO IDEA
what they are doing, and these little incompetents should be employed at an open air market, shoveling fish guts
for a living.
The only way I know of to fight back, is to order ONLY from vendors who provide you with the info you need,
rather than forcing you to make a risky assumption when you order.
