Interesting Problem on the Horizon.

So, currently, living in Illinois I have my LEOSA license that allows me to carry whichever semi-automatic I desire, since I qualified with semi-auto. Planning a move to Missouri in the upcoming year. In reading the laws, it may be that I will only be able to carry the weapon I qualify with.

This brings up a dilemma.

I have a lot of semi-autos that I currently carry based on my mood, or what I'm wearing.

Right now, I often carry my new Tristar T-100 coz it gives me 15 rounds of 9mm.

But yesterday, I was carrying my little compact 1911 in .45acp. It gives me one in the pipe and 7 in the mag with McCormic mags.

But then there's my XD-S or XD Mod 2...

Or the Kahr 9mm...

So you can see, my dilemma.

If I have to choose only one to carry, based on preferences, what would you do?

    Get a regular permit

Bring all your "carry" guns and shoot them all.

In Pa if you're smart enough to find the sheriff's office you qualify.

You have to put the model and serial number on your card. I don't want to carry 15 cards.

They won't put multiple #'s on one card:confused: Or, why can't you grab the appropriate card of the day? Not saying it is not a PITA or dumb.

What are you going to be able to carry most often without major wardrobe and holster adjustments? It ain't about going to war; it's about getting out of a jam.

Virginia does not require specific details on what you will carry, but they do specify that the CCW permit is a "Permit to Carry a Concealed Handgun." It does not cover any other personal weapon covered under Virginia statute. That really disappointed me; I was all set to CC a Serbu 12 gauge under my tailored Italian double-breasted suit...

CPJ, this is not about a CCW. It's about the LEOSA requirement. It's a nation wide permit.

So how here is it for the card to be updated with a new gun? Re qualification? Hmmmmm XD-s would be my vote.
Aim higher, or get a bigger gun.

Probably not if I just used the Missouri permitting system. Some places it's not required. Other places, they still require a CCW

With all due respect, I think you are going to do whatever you think you need to do.
