I like them all, but, not the mood music I was looking for.

Words of wisdom from Big Chief: Flush twice, it's a long way to the Mess Hall
I'd rather have my sister work in a whorehouse than own another Taurus!

“A gun is a tool, no better or no worse than any other tool: an axe, a shovel or anything. A gun is as good or as bad as the man using it. Remember that.”
If I'm not feeling mellow or bluesy, I'll put together a mix of Foo Fighters, Anberlin, Chevelle, Alter Bridge, Switchfoot and The Mighty Zep and be done with it.
I have an idea what the other couple we are going with have on their phones, this list is probably similar to the above list.

You dig the likes of Imagine Dragons, Lumineers, Mumford & Sons, The Civil Wars?
Check out The Head and the Heart, Jamestown Revival, Johnnyswim, The Oh Hellos, Run River North...
I am really out of the loop with music, not much new on classic rock stations in my neck of the woods, no alt music or new music stations to tune in to. I suppose if I got with the times and subscribed to Sirius or something similar I would get some better variety.
I will check these out on youtube, thanks.

Going to be on a beach soon, unlimited booze and food, need some tunes, suggestions please. I just downloaded John Hiatt and Stevie Ray Vaughn to the phone. Have the albums/CD's, just not on the phone.
Anything from Jimmy Buffet, starting with A1A. "A Pirate Looks At 40" is still one of my favorites,

Gun control laws make about as much sense as taking ex-lax to cure a cough.
Check out "Rythme, Country, and Blues" it was recorded in the 90's. It pairs R&B stars with Country stars. It's a good album. The documentary 8s good too. I watched it again last night on YouTube. My 2 favorites from the album is Patches by B.B. King and George Jones. Then Rainy Night in Georgia by Sam Moore and Conway Twitty.
I have no love for Procol Harum, Nights in White Satin makes me want to slam my hand in the car door.
That was the Moody Blues, but point taken.

Midnight in Harlem and Anyhow by Tedeschi-Trucks are 2 of my favorite songs.
Someone mentioned Stephan Stills earlier: the So Far album by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young is good.
My wife thinks I embarrass her too much the way it is........
Yeah, speedos are more lawn mowing attire than sunbathing attire.
All very good, I have the Clapton CD, I am familiar with the other two, but not bending my ear for sitting on the beach. Thank you though.
