Those that hate plastic just shut the hell up.:guns:

Got this e-mail from glock this AM. Of note is the G17L and the comp models coming back.

This morning marks the opening of the 2017 NRA Annual Meeting, which is being held in Atlanta. To mark this occasion GLOCK will be announcing a special production run of pistols for the summer. Because you are a member of GLOCK ID, we wanted you to hear the news first, from us, before the general public finds out.

The Summer Specials feature a number of pistols and features the GLOCK community has been asking for. These include G17 Gen4 and G19 Gen4 pistols with front serrations, steel sights, and extended controls. Our Summer Specials also include a return of the G17L and the G24, as well as the introduction of Gen4 editions of the G17C and G19C. We are also producing the G17 Gen4, G19 Gen4, G42, and G43 with factory-installed night sights. In addition to these pistols, we are producing a series of pistols with Olive Drab frames: the G43; G26 in Gen3 and Gen4 models; and the G17, G19, and G34 in Gen3, Gen4, and Gen4 MOS configurations.

These pistols will be available at your favorite GLOCK dealer beginning in June and throughout the summer. We hope you will stop by your local dealer to check it out.

    Cool!
Aim higher, or get a bigger gun.

    I have always wanted a 17L and/or a 24.

Finding them was expensive or rare. So, I took to placing longer barrels in existing guns. That method has worked for me. But, I may still pick up a 17L.

I could be convinced to buy a 43 in ODG. Why? 'Cause I like the 43 and ODG looks better than black!

Don't like black ... be careful or some snowflake liberal **** would think you're prejudice hating black ones :tooth:

I don't need one and should probably spend funds on something else but I'd be tempted if a 17L were at the LGS

You could make a lot worse choice for CCW. It has become my go to gun when I leave the house

I have others to try, but the 43 was the first Glock that wasn't "meh" to me - I guess because of the Gen 4 ergonomics. :uhm:

Now that you live in a place where such pistols are an option...

Exactly. I tried a 43 last year sometime here in Florida.
