Made it to Alabama and back.............

With my new toy. I was leaning towards Ford until I saw this place offering the Hemi for basically free over the V6. Plus they offered me $3000 more for the Tacoma over the phone than the two places I looked at locally (who only offered KBB book). They only had quad cabs left and I wanted Granite Grey instead of white, but this one has the trailer hitch, rear camera, 3.92 diff, and limited slip rear.............

I had to go today since it was the last day of the deal. They came in just for me and ended up selling another truck while we were there.

    Nice ride, congrats, FWIW I have always been a Mopar man, compared to other makes i have owned, they have been more reliable , less trouble than all the others.

    No. It's an Express model which is just above the base model. No real need for it in Florida. It will cool off with A/C almost immediately. Don't have to wait for the engine to heat up to defrost the windows like back in Ohio.....

    I will upgrade the radio to the OEM 8'' model when I find a cheap one on Ebay. The rear view camera is a bit small on the one in there now. We had the 8'' screen in our old Charger and the difference is worth the trouble..........

    Hemi will go from 0-70 twice as fast as the Tacoma would go from 60-70...............

    I've got a 2005 Ram and it's not given any problems...I bought it used. I dread changing all 16 plugs, it's hard to get to them.

    I don't how you would get the drivers side plugs out without moving the brake booster............

    I have pretty much the exact same truck. 2012 Big Horn edition. It's been a great truck. Love the 5.7 Hemi power. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

    S5 Special Edition. 1 of only 125 made. The last of the S5's to come with a V8 engine.............. I haven't been under it yet, so I don't know if the exhaust has been replaced, but it sounds good!

    I saw an estimate to replace an Audi V8 awhile back during one of my warranty claim inspections- - - - -$14K- - - - -plus the labor to install it!

    You would have to go out the bottom to replace. I can't even get my hand between the engine and radiator.............

    The one I saw was using oil and smoking, and had deep score marks in one cylinder wall, visible with a borescope. CarMax bought it back from the owner, rather than do the engine replacement under warranty. Don't know what ever happened to it!

    There is 102,000 miles on the black A5 and it only uses a quart of oil every 3-4000 miles.........
