When the top brass has to bow down to a bunch of social engineering PC rules set up by politicians, and the rest of the chain of command is selected by how well one's lips fit the behind of the guy one rung higher on the ladder, it's no wonder the good ones want to leave.

When I made a decision not to stay in the USAF 40 years ago, the problem was different- - - - -the lifers were drunks and the newbies were dopers, and us mid-level NCO's were stuck in between.
