Blue Origin coming to town

Jeff Bezos is going to build a 400,000 square ft rocket plant in Cummings Reseach Park where I work. Kind of cool but that means more traffic, more crowds at lunchtime. It's the second largest research park in the country. I think the one in Raleigh is bigger. We are still the big boys with over half a million sq ft. But that is half or more office space. I wonder how they are allowing it since the rules only allow proto type manufacturing. Of course we have 4 proto type lines and build as much as we like till the process is established enough to build elsewhere.

I hear the engines he's building will be the ones to get us off the Russian Space Taxi Service and back to launching our own space flights again. Hope he succeeds in that endeavor. Been a long time since the space shuttle got retired.

Yea, replacing the ones we currently buy from the russians and eventually the Vulcan which is under design. I hope they test fire them from the old shuttle test stands. I used to be able to see them from my office but I just moved across the lake. Boeing builds some in decatur too.
