One ugly buck on camera

I pulled the SD cards in my game cameras today. This group of bucks is new as of this morning but were on a number of cameras. This one buck is mighty ugly! This is the best shot I had of him. My buddy says it looks like he slept on his antler wrong! He's got one ugly rack. It looks as though the 6 pt with no brow tines from last year is still a 6 pt this year, just bigger!

Currently I have 9 different bucks on the ranch!

Does ugly have a growth on his chest? I can tell if that is his leg at an odd angle or a injury.

My gut response is to say shoot on sight, he is a cull. He may have suffered some injury though.

Good pick up, I'm not sure. I enlarged the photo to see his ugly antler better. Hopefully we'll see him again on camera and get a better shot of him!

Well, he either injured that antler or there are some crazy genes running around your place. Interesting thing, when a deer injures an antler in velvet, he will replicate that injury in every set of antlers he grows subsequently...
