Please note the 3rd paragraph.
I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn away from their ways and live. Eze 33:11

Apparently, they have a history of thuggish behavior. Killed two elderly people in 1989 when the grenade caught the house on fire, but let's keep using them. Especially when we have NO idea who is inside.

    Wow....words fail me.

Russell was arrested on a misdemeanor for having a "disorderly house" but never charged.

    Wow.

Actually there are six degrees of burns. Beyond third is usually fatal (unless localized to an extremity) so you don't hear much about them outside of an autopsy report.

    Interesting read.

Even after reading that, I'm not sure how what is basically a flash fire could burn a person that deeply

I don't know what flash grenades are made from but I suspect some of the flash may come from magnesium. Stuff like that burns HOT!

Magnesium or aluminum powder, and some form of explosive, pyrotechnic or otherwise. Magnesium and aluminum powder burn HOT, HOT, HOT! But they do make a bright flash.
