Gun Confiscation Bill Signed Into Law.
According to Guns, Oregon Governor Kate Brown signed a new bill on Wednesday that shows the first signs of what “Democrat gun control” looks like.

A once great state.
California is poison. As is the northeast states.
California is poisoning Oregon, Washington State, Arizona, Montana, and Texas.
The northeast is poisoning Virginia, Florida, South Carolina, Ohio, etc.

Don't forget to add Colorado and Nevada into the list of states ruined by the California plague. Both have been hit by recent waves of locusts leaving their exhausted liberal pockets and both are suddenly blue states now.

This law is abusive simply because it exists.
There's a local T-Shirt company that sells shirts that say, "I don't care how they did it in California!"
I see people wearing them during tourist season. No, not THAT kind of tourist season.

I'll be more interested in seeing whether it is complied with or not.
I have a friend who lives in Oregon, and just sent him email about this. He has a number of guns, so it will be interesting to get his take on this.
Also, having just moved from Colorado to Texas, I have yet to see a lot of liberal influence here. I live about 50-60 miles from Dallas, in a small town, and there are a number of gun shops in the town. I consider Austin a whole 'nother insane asylum, too. I even talked to one gun shop owner who insisted that the state constitution allowed open and concealed carry without the benefit of a permit.
As for what's going on in Oregon, I suspect the law will be challenged in court soon enough. This is the sort of thing that the NRA and other gun rights organizations will jump on, with enough money to make a good fight of it.
One last thing. If I understand the bill correctly, anyone can point the finger at a lawful gun owner and claim that person is a danger to his/her self or others. Maybe the actual text of the bill further refines who "someone close" is, but it seems pretty vague to me. Some over zealous anti-gunner could theoretically point the finger at every one they know who owns a firearm.
Gun control laws make about as much sense as taking ex-lax to cure a cough.
