    We have a son that hunts in New Mexico and that is what he says often about hunting quail there.

    I have always enjoyed Dove hunting, I have a dandy little 16 gauge SxS that is just perfect for the job...... but I prefer quail & pheasant hunting....

    We don't have pheasants here but I used to hunt them in Colorado when I was a kid.
