242 years and counting!:usa::usa::usa:

And the Marine Corps 242nd birthday is November 10! :usa::usa::usa:

Been one heck of a combo kicking butts and taking names for over two centuries.
If the U.S. Congress was put in charge of the Sahara Desert, there would be a shortage of sand in under six months.

    Sometimes I work nights, and morning is my evening. ;)

    When I worked 8 hour swing shifts, morning, afternoon, evening, and night were pretty arbitrary concepts. I had quite a few 0800 after work drinks after getting home from a shift. And especially after a 16 hour stint that took in both evening and midnight shift. Take a shower with a cold one on a suction cup cupholder in the shower! I was sleepy, needed the carbs, and it helped me get relaxed so could get to sleep quick and be ready for the next shift.

    After a full day, shower beers are the best.

    In the bar in Pusan along Texas Street, we taught some soldiers how a REAL bar brawl works. :D

    Dude, this was years before the world wide web, cell phones, Karaoke, anything like that. Which, of course, is a GOOD thing, as some of the doffy dumb crap we all did in uniform will NEVER be on YouTube. ;)

    That's a good thing about it being before the internet. :roll2: The Black Angus Bar in San Juan, PR would figure prominently if there had been internet, cell phone videos, and Youtube back in the 60s-70s. :roll2:
