Former Jackson,MS mayor caught someone breaking into his truck. The mayor grabbed the kid, paddled him, and called the cops. Pretty funny story.

    he is lucky did not get shot, I applaud him with his effort.
    It was a dumb move confronting a unknown person especially with out a way to protect yourself.
    I am glad it ended well for him.

    He may find himself charged with child abuse or assault for laying hands on the perp. Dumb move IMO.
