Do you trust the DOJ and FBI?

I heard of this for the first time today. How can I trust senior FBI personnel who are ignorant enough to document this idiocy in text messages? I had to have a talk with my youngest Granddaughter concerning texts, e-mail, and social media but she was 11 years old in her first year of Middle School. I expect senior FBI personnel to know better.

That's what happens when people consider themselves to be above the law. And for a couple or more decades, that's actually been the case, about them being above the law. BATFE is a case study in that particular area.

I'm more worried that they thought it than that they documented it...

    I know. Silly question.

For me, it's a no brainer. The answer is no and no. Both agencies are so full of leftover loyalists to the Obama administration that I don't trust them to be fair and impartial. That being said, I do believe that a lot of the rank and file of both are honest and hard working, but by the time a report gets to the top, it's been 'filtered' to say whatever the higher officials want it to.

Look no further than Robert Mueller. He was the FBI director when the Uranium One deal was occurring. He either knew what was going on and chose to look the other way, which makes him complicit, or didn't know, which makes him incompetent. Either way, he doesn't seem interested in looking in that direction but would rather try to find dirt on Donald Trump.

I was going to say, what's to love there? I trust no entity of the government because the Government is made of Politicians. And they will do what is necessary to stay in power. Term Limiits will stop that somewhat, but whoever's in office and for however long they are there they will try to stay as long as possible because it's lucrative to be there.

I don't trust any of them anymore. To much corruption going on and nothing is being done about it.

It's bad enough that there appears to be credible evidence that the highest levels of the FBI and Justice Department were working to help Hilary Clinton win the election, by overlooking the uranium deal that gave 20% of our entire uranium assets to the Russians, at a time when the Clinton foundation was depositing hundreds of millions dollars through third party sources, and Bill Clinton was making $500,000 speeches in Russia. Or that Hilary and her minions were allowed to destroy evidence, lie to Congress, and make deals on the tarmac with the sitting AG. Or that the FBI chief wrote her exoneration document before she was even interviewed, very likely used a phony dossier created by the Russians and purchased by the Clinton campaign, to justify FISA warrants for wiretaps and other surveillance on the Trump campaign. Or that...well never mind, it goes on and on.

All of the above is bad enough, but maybe worse is that ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN and most other media sources, except FoxNews, has not reported any of it, or even the rumors of it, and the Democrat members of the Oversight Committee will not even read any of the memos that assert these transgressions. At the same time, they attempt to make huge stories of every rumor that comes out about the Russian collusion story that has its origins in the same bogus dossier.

The American people need to open their eyes and quit whining so much about all government being corrupt, for just long enough to make sure that the worst offenders do not steal what freedom we have left. These people in the government and in the media who are making a career out of screeching at Donald Trump are much more dangerous than the run-of-the-mill corrupt politicians we have grown used to over the years - they are selling us down the river to our enemies, at every opportunity, and have been for years. The FBI has been investigating everybody, but bringing nobody to judgement.

The text messages from the love birds in the FBI could IMO be grounds for a charge of Sedition. I believe may other high level officials in the government
should also be on trial for sedition among other things.
I've said many times on this forum,we are involved in a Political Civil War with the left, Impeaching Trump has become a religion with them and they are relentless
in that regard. Its called sedition ! Pitchfork time is coming fast. The tree of liberty is looking bad!
Trump should fire the "swamp", we know who they are, TSWHTF, that OK by me. JMO BTW: How does a person send 50,000 text messages in five months
    and still do there job?

Federal agencies in general were all corrupted by the Obama administration. DOJ, FBI, IRS, VA, DOE (Edu), BATFE, BLM....you name it.

The media did not go crazy everytime Obama made a change. Many deoartment head changes were not even reported except for a brief mention. Today everything is a Trump conspiracy. It is so bad today I do not think there is a fix possible without a war.

I don’t care if the agencies are made up of card carrying Reagan Republicans. I don’t trust them. Period.

What the hell was Trump thinking? He could have saved himself so much grief if during his first week in office he'd have fired Comey and all the leadership of the FBI and the DOJ. No body could have questioned his firing of anybody at that stage.

And he should have left Sessions in the Senate where he belonged. But that wasn't a known screw up at the time. Most of us were thinking what a great move, making Sessions his AG. But looking back it would have been a lot better if he'd tried to talk Cruz into it. Either way he would have lost a good senator.

But in retrospect, Texas would have most likely elected another Republican to replace Cruz. Then we would be more ahead in the senate and we would have a lot more aggressive straight forward AG that would no doubt have had at least Hillary, if not Obama and Lois Lane I mean Learner behind bars. But hindsight is always 20-20.

Appointing an AG who is a Washington DC swamp rat from Alabama, regardless of which party he claims, was a huge mistake. Sessions has been playing "Go along to get along" with all the inside the beltway players for such a long time he has no idea what it means to grow a pair and actually have some principles!

Speaking of the FBI, I see that they are already claiming that the memo the Repubs want the Prez to release is not complete and contains classified info that could be harmful to the country. To my knowledge, Trump hasn't release it yet, but said he would.

It will be interesting to see what it contains.
