It was to cold to sit in the woods, so I took the pup to the gamelands. So bird, and she didnt even key on one, but I dont have to do the treadmill today.
Its a small gameland, but we pretty well covered all of it.

It is so cold here I didn’t even hunt my last 2 available days! Birds are way down and -5 with wind is too much!

With the exception of prairie dogs, I've come home skunked more often than not.

And there's been a few days even with pdogs that the issue was in doubt until the last few minutes.

My experience with hunting is that "failure" outnumbers "success" 2/1.

But, it's hard to consider any hunt a failure.
