Which, the idiot that shot the brass, or the idiot that made this video??

One round is an accident. Two not so much. Three, well, you know.
My thoughts are generally clear. My typing, not so much.

How in the world did that thing manage to cycle, and not have a bunch of FTF malfunctions? Or, maybe it did?

I'm agreeing with you it would have had to be cycled by hand and with all the blowback you would have to have gotten how would not have known something was wrong

I'll bet that 1911 was really accurate.

Reminds me of the guy at a local public range who had some .400 Cor-Bon ammo that allowed his .45 to equal a 10mm in power.

Problem was his accuracy stank, because while he had the ammo, and used it, he lacked the barrel to go with it....
    Overkill is underrated.

There was a guy in the next lane to mine where my new electronic earmuffs allowed me to listen to the RO tell him that he couldn't shoot 9mm Makarov in his 9mm (Luger) pistol. :yikes: Maybe I'd be better off with regular muffs, so I couldn't hear stuff like that!

Reminds me of a thread a looooooong time ago here where someone asked about shooting the .45 Colt in a .410 shotgun. It was right after the Taurus Judge came out. And couldn't understand that the Taurus had a .45 cal. barrel which made that safe, and that doing that in a .410 shotgun was just crazy.
