I think “Wide Load” is officially a cull this year. He’s heading down hill. Not as wide or as heavy as he used to be. He’s uneven in horns and his body is deteriorating. I doubt he’ll breed this year. Probably 7.5+ years. I’ve enjoyed watching him over the years.

That is a 3-4 year old clear cut she is in, we are starting to wonder if they, the DNR, sprayed something, it usually looks like the growth at the bottom of the picture, almost a 30 minute walk from one end of the clear cut to the other.
