They’ve eaten half the new block in a week. 

And these little bastigesis ain’t helping it last!  Guess I’m setting the trap again.

Yep... they get that way....nighttime temps have been in the low teens for a couple of weeks now....we had a big old buck show up last night....at first glance I thought it was a huge doe,,,then I got a look at the top of his head and saw that he had already dropped his antlers....

Nice pics of the Caracaras!  We have a nesting pair in a giant oak that we can see from our back porch.

They visit absolute MURDER on the neighborhood duck pond.
