Well, this doesn’t happen often. I’ve only seen it one other time and on a different ranch. A buck dropping both horns in the same location as though they both dropped off at once.

Found this today. It’s at least a couple years old. Shame, he would have been a great one with a few more years on him.

Found this young bucks today. Best I can figure is it was this fall, and likely when we had that Ice Age Storm. 

So, if it wasn’t a “winter kill” I don’t know what would have gotten him.

On a good note:
We found both of Casanova’s antlers!!! Right next to each other!!

Only the third time in my life to find a bucks antlers side by side. 

We also found both of Drop’s antlers. Left side yesterday and right side
today!

If I could find both of G1’s antlers, it would be an amazing year.
