Yeah, those 8 are does... SO??? IME they eat just as good as a buck does. I haven't found a suitable way to tenderize antlers to make them edible

I can't believe the number of good pictures of nice deer you get off that ONE camera. How do the Axis and Whitetails get along? Any inter- breeding?

That camera sits on a fence crossing. Just pulled the camera yesterday. Gonna try it somewhere else. 

The Axis inter mingle with the whitetail. But, don’t interbreed.

I’m late to the party but I finally got some cams set up on my Missouri property.  

Seems I got set up just in time for shed season.  Found a stray 8-point’s right antler on the ground while the land was being surveyed.  Then, the cellular trail sent me pics of this shed buck in a different part of the land just a couple of hours back:





A gobbler flock also showed up just before the buck came by.  Encouraging to see as the turkey season approaches:
