When is the last time you mowed the lawn, any sun bleached bones lying about?

Don’t know this guy. But, he has my attention now!  Doesn’t have a name. But, he will likely get one this year!  He has potential!!

I like his brow tines and the kicker on his right G2.

Looks like he may have a case of road rash too.
I wouldn't want to be rolling him with my car.

Murphy is gonna have a drop tine again this year!

Casanova will be wide but likely shorter tined this year. He’s finally being put on the “market”.

    G1 is still doing well.

And my Rancher Friend has already sold 8+ Hunts for the upcoming season!!  I’m gonna by busy!!

I figured out who this “unknown” buck from the earlier post was.

Once I saw the rest of his body and his Midge-t legs, I knew it was Midge. This is his first year with a kicker.

Casanova is coming along well for his age. He’s the oldest buck we have this year. I believe he’s 8 this year.

He only has one split brow this year and while he’s still nice and wide, I think his time length will suffer with age.
Hes finally on the chopping block if someone is willing to pay.

Monster is doing well so far. Good width and he’ll be tall tined again.

Son was the last to lose his horns so, he has a late start. But, he should be nice.

The cottonseed is working!!!  We only have 1 spike that I’m aware of and a plethora of 1 and 2 year old 8s.
Probably gonna then out the young 8s unless they show something special.

Are you convinced the cotton seed is helping antler growth? Any less fawns running around from the side effects? Do the Axis deer get the same benefit/side effect?

I’m convinced. We only have one that looks like a spike this year and he may still kick out brows or forks!
Does are just starting to drop fawns. I’ve seen two so far.
We stopped feeding cotton at the end of September. So, that should be plenty of time for it to have gotten out of their system.
The axis will benefit in antler growth as long as I’m feeding it when they are growing.
Now that you mention it……..we haven’t seen any axis fawns since the yotes killed the last ones. I don’t know how it effects their fertility. I’ll have to check with the biologist.
