Feedback Wanted - Experience Not Opinion! :-) G19

Well I am wanting to take a plunge and try something different. There is now a Turners in Palmdale. They have the 4" Glock 19  with Ameri-Glo night sights on sale. 
Good for Cops nationwide, I wonder if I could get used to it for EDC. Light enough at 23oz. All the Glocks I have have shot didn't impress me. But they were easy to shoot and be accurate with.
Anyone have first hand experience and feedback?

I have owned in the past and will own again, a G19. 

Sold the one one I had thinking I would prefer a G17. I was wrong. 

I currently have a G23 (same size) and it is my favorite carry gun. I want a G19 again for the same reason.

It depends on what you wear and how you plan to conceal it.  If you can pull it off (I couldn’t conceal my old G23 well enough) to make it work, it is a great option.

Personally, I think the single stack 9mm pistols now available are a great option.  The make my G26 feel very fat.

I don't carry it as much now. Now it's either smaller (Kahr PM40) or larger (LW Commander) that I carry mostly now.

I have a Kahr CW9 I carry often, But it is snappy to shoot. I was thinking the G19 might smooth things out a bit. Despite my comfort with the 1911 grip angle, I am thinking I will give it a try.

I’ve owned and carried two G19s in my career, a Gen 2 that was surgically accurate and which I was stupid to sell, and a Gen 3 that was disappointing and contributed to my moving to M&Ps.

But I am seriously considering a Gen 5 now; the ones I’ve handled have impressed me a lot.

Nope. I like 'em just fine, though.

I discovered that I preferred the XD platform better, despite the supposedly unnecessary grip safety, so, given the choice, I went with the XD45 for a hundred dollars less. I may buy a G17, someday, and change my mind. I keep finding better values out there that fit my needs. I went shopping for a Sig, and bought a CZ, instead, and I went shopping for a ..44 magnum, and bought a 10mm Glock. I guess I'm just a whimsical person.

A Glock 19 sits on my belt almost everyday. AIWB in a Raven Concealment holster it vanishes even under a t-shirt. I want to switch, but there's nothing good enough to do so. I foresee it being my
EDC for a good, long while.

I prefer a G17/22, but the 19/23 is a good option too if you find the full size too large for you.

I do NOT like Glocks. I have no aversion to tupperware guns, They have their place, and I love my M&P. 

I have shot several and while I can acquit myself decently on the range with one, no love there. If the Ruger PC carbine makes it to my house, I may have to change my mind and get one.

The Glock just does NOT fit my hand. If it did, I would own one.

I carried a G19 for several years. Still do a lot of the time. Not hard to conceal IWB with the proper clothing. Only recently started carrying the Shield or the P365. I'm wanting a GEN 5 one now.

I owned a G22, and my dad still has his G23, but Glocks are categorically 'meh' for me.  Excellent tools, so I have no negative feelings for them, least of all for the G19, which I found to be easy to shoot well.  Over time, I've developed a preference for the XD platform, as far as tupperware guns go.
