Short, wet range day report.

Weather forecast was calling for too much rain to take the boat out and go fishing, so I decided to go to the range and sight in my VEPR-12 (last time I was defending myself against attacking milk jugs and soda bottles I noticed it was a little off). The sun was shining when I left the house, not so much by the time I made it to the range. By the time I got set up and shooting, it was raining. By the time I shot this 5 shot group, it was pouring. Winchester PDX1 Defender 1 oz. slugs out of a smooth bore at 50 yards on a bag rest with a non-magnified red dot that was fogging up in a downpour.....I'll take it.

Son that's somebody with nothing to do with his time but keep me in trouble with mom.

I'd rather have my sister work in a whorehouse than own another Taurus!
That's excellent accuracy for smooth bore slugs.

I have been very impressed with the VEPR-12. It eats everything with nary a hiccup and has proven to be far more accurate than I expected.
