Isn’t it against federal regs to ship automatic knives across state lines unless the buyer is military or LEO?

FLA has laws about knives.......and "Common" pocket knives are legal......exactly what that means is up fer debate. If you have a CCW you are pretty much covered, but some municipalities have their own stupid regs.

They pretty much say that don't carry one any place you can't carry your CCW gun............but who knows you can be jacked up for about anything when cops wanna be Richards.

Should be OK here, I think.

OK one email each from Sales at blade Ops, Auto-receipt and one from Cap One notifying me of a new transaction on my card.

I won't mention someone I know well who mistakenly ordered more than one item by mistake before............................

Beats me. But they do it.
    Here’s what their website says ... https://www.bladeops.com/terms.asp 2nd paragraph ...

Automatic Knife & Legal Status Terms— IN COMPLIANCE WITH FEDERAL STATUTES: Read carefully all conditions set forth below. By placing an order with us, you agree that you meet any or all of the following criteria. If you do not, do not place an order with us because you are breaking federal statute. Federal law prohibits shipment of automatic knives across state lines, with the following exceptions: (1) to civilian or Armed Forces supply or procurement officers and employees of the Federal Government ordering, procuring, or purchasing such knives in connection with the activities of the Federal Government; (2) to supply or procurement officers of the National Guard, the Air National guard, or militia of a state, territory or the District of Columbia ordering, procuring, or purchasing such knives in the connection with the activities of such organization; (3) to supply or procurement officers or employees of the municipal government of the District of Columbia or the government of any State or Territory, or any county, city or other political subdivision of a State or Territory; (4) to manufacturers of such knives or bona fide dealers therein in connection with any shipment made pursuant of an order from any person designated in paragraphs (1), (2), and (3). BladeOps, LLC will sell no such knives to any individual outside the State of Utah without the above conditions being met. This does not apply to automatic knives manufactured and sold within the state of Utah. Legal status of products-- It is the responsibility of the buyer, not the seller, to ascertain, and obey, all applicable local, state, federal and international laws in regard to the possession, and use, of any item purchased from BladeOps, LLC. All equipment is sold subject to public law 90-351, title III, U.S.D., Section 2511, and any local, state or federal ordinances. Consult your local and state laws before ordering if you are in doubt. Absolutely no sales to minors. By placing an order, the buyer represents that the products ordered will be used in a lawful manner and that the he/she is of legal age. BladeOps, LLC will not be held liable for the misuse of any product purchased from us or any of our distributors & dealers. Also as no product is 100% effective against attack, BladeOps, LLC assumes no responsibility if a product purchased from us is not effective in preventing bodily injury, dismemberment or death. Anyone attempting to falsify information or defraud our company in any way, will be turned over to the proper authorities. Any attempts at extortion or entrapment will also be met with swift legal action!

I bought mine at a shop in state because of this type statement on another store site. Also there is a further Federal statute that autos while they might be legal in the state are illegal on Federal lands, Military bases, Indian lands and other Federal property. I am not sure about any of this malarkey but just pointing it out ... knife laws are not clear be it state or federal to me.

Auto opening knives with blades less than 3" long are legal in Florida for anyone thanks to former governor Jeb Bush. I ordered 4 of them.

Come to find out (after I ordered them) that they are actually legal to own and carry in Michigan now. I knew they were working on legislation, but didn't realize it passed and was signed into law late last year.

I ordered one each for myself, Mrs. Jerm, and both kids. They shipped yesterday and should be here tomorrow. .
