Got a surprise @ school today.

Had to do a skills validation on starting an IV today..
While I was prepping my equipment, the instructor walked up and handed me a sealed "Official" school envelope with my name on it, saying, "I was told to give this to you."

Me being me, my first thought was, "Oh "CRAP" (Not the first word that came to mind), what have I done now?"

Surprisingly, it was a good thing. I opened it up and this is what I found...

That is better than being told to put  on a blindfold and stand against a wall, hey.

    Thank you gentlemen.

Ned, the University of Alabama is referred to as " The Capstone ". So There are ALL sorts of things here in town with "Capstone" in their name. From UA's School of Nursing, to Schools, Clinics (Dental, and medical) and Childhood Development centers

Here's the history of it, from UA's website
"The University of Alabama is often referred to as "The Capstone" by alumni and friends of the university. "The Capstone" is a nickname for The University of Alabama coined by former UA President G. H. Denny when he referred to the University as the "capstone of the public school system of the state" in 1913. Capstone means 'the top stone or high point.' "
