Question for South Florida members.

On Fox this morning the talking heads comented that there is a movement to turn Florida into a sanctuary state. I'm pretty confident that nobody in this part of the state would ever consider that so it has to be generated from the southern part of the state. Is this BS, a proposal that someone brought up that doesn't stand a chance, or does it have some traction down south?

From what I have heard there are a few Mayors that have brought this up.
Coral Gables, Weston, South Miami, North Miami Beach, Miramar , Tallahassee to name a few.  The same cities that talked of suing Rick Scott so they could ban AR15s in their city

It may be a popular idea in South Florida (where most of the libs are), but it will never happen under a Republican governor and state legislature.

South of I-4 is mostly blue with some purple mixed in.

This is a more accurate representation of Florida voters by county in 2016.

Looks fairly accurate except for the Keys. Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties definitely lean to port

The Keys are part of Monroe County, which is directly north of the island chain and the same pinkish color as the rest of Monroe. They couldn't separate the two into different voting blocs.

Such a double standard against you Zorba.............I mean it seems to be OK for men of Scottish heritage to wear skirts (kilts) and play bagpipes , but when it comes to you it ain't right.............course they don't belly dance and paint their nails either............ what's up with that.........just sayin..............
