Anyone else seen the ad for the NGOA?

While I was watching Midwest Country on RFDTV last night, an ad for the National Gun Owners Association came up making offers to good to be true.  Being the skeptic I am, I did a search to learn more about them, and everything I found was derogatory.  Also, if you go to their web site, registration (no, I did not) is necessary before one can actually find out what they have to offer.  My first thought was that they were a gun control group, but now I believe they're just a bunch of flimflamers.

Has anyone here ever heard of this group or know anything at all about them?

Looks like a buyer's club of some sort.

I had the same impression when I first saw it.
