My girl finally is cleared medically and we have an appointment at the U.S. Embassy for her visa interview. I bought my ticket and leave the night of the 22-23.
It's been a long time coming and this week I'm cleaning up some loose ends and starting to pack. I'll be gone until Sept. 18th and hopefully if things go my way I'll be back with her in tow. Not sure yet though. I don't know if I can get them on my return flight. But if not, I'll just come on ahead and meet them in Houston. If you can give me a few prayers for things to turn out well I'd appreciate it. If this works out and she comes back with me, I'll try to bring her to the SE shoot next year. I think you would approve.
Daddy, what's an enabler?
Son that's somebody with nothing to do with his time but keep me in trouble with mom.

Hoping the best for you Snake. I know it's a big hassle getting them into the US and you gotta jump through hoops.

You said "They" how many wimmens is you bringing back?

Thanks early, I'm pretty hopeful but nothng's for sure until we get on the plane. However, I do have a plan B if this doesn't work. I'd just marry her there and bring her on a spousal visa.
But that takes longer. However, you gotta do what ya gotta do.

Oh, I forgot to tell you chief, I'm bringing you one too!!! Relax, she has all her own teeth and shes a hot looking 27 year old, about 4 foot 8.

OK I'm just kidding chief however I do know a couple others some kin to my ex and some kin to my future. When I said them, she's got kids coming with her but they're all over 16.

Yes me too, it's been a long time coming. We have done about everything humanly possible to get this right. It was a lot of work but will be well worth it. I'm too old to be by myself.

Thanks, it's been a long time coming. We have really gone over and above on all our evidence and papers. It should go without a hitch I hope. Your friend knows all too well what I'm going through. This is kinda like a fraternity.

Thanks bellcat. I'm pretty hopeful because we have gone an extra 10 miles with this one. We have a lot of proof of our love and commitment for each other and that though we haven't been physically together this whole 7 years, we have had conversation on almost every day on video chat. We started off on Yahoo Messenger Video Chat for two years. Then when we were starting to get serious I took a trip there for almost a month. I was very impressed to say the least. Then I went back the next year for her youngest brother's wedding. At some point my Messenger got screwed up and rather than mess with it we just went to Facebook Messenger. That's where we've been since when on line, which has been almost every day. There've been a few days when she didn't have internet due to bad weather and for me, after Hurricane Harvey when I had no internet or power, but other than those few days we have seen each other's face and talked with each other almost everyday for the last 7 1/2 years. Add to that the times I've been there physically with her and I'd say I know this woman pretty well for such a long distance relationship.

You're right on Das. She's got kids. They are 16, 17, and 18 years old and way more mature than my grand kids at the same age. They have expressed to me they would like to work.. So we'll see how their grades look before letting them get a job.
