No experience with the Rogue, but we've considered one. The wife and I are both Nissan owners and her 2011 Altima has a 2.5L 4-cylinder that is surprisingly potent and excellent on gas.
I also rented a Honda CR-V recently while in Alaska that was also impressive. It has an economy mode that allows for frugal gas usage when cruising, which comes at the expense of some power. The nice thing is that it can be kicked off at a moment's notice for a notable increase in power, which is great when handling hills, passing and such.
Accuracy: because white space between bullet holes drives me insane.
I had an '81 Datsun pickup, with the "Nap-Z" engine - the one famous for blowing head gaskets, which it did at about 15K miles. Leaked oil from the transmission tail-shaft and was a rust bucket from day one.
I'm sure they're a lot better these days...

Mom and dad didn't get one but my daughter decided she wanted one. Test drove Chevy's, Ford's, and Gmcs. After test driving the Rouge wasn't even far down the road when she said I love it. Went back to the dealer and didn't take long to finalize it. Came to find out it was the same one mom and dad were deciding between. Dad's jealous because he really wanted the Rouge but Mom won that Battel. 😂 I hope it does my daughter well.
