if you have any old, broken Zippo's  they will fix them free, just got back some i sent in all new inner patrs in the original case, some of them were from the 50s & 60s. you pay shipping , they pay the return. Go on there web site and print out the repair form,

Been a loooong time since an old Zippo was leaking lighter fluid in my pocket. Can't say as I miss it.

They soldered a medallion on , replaced the hinges, and put in a new insert.

My uncle carried one in WW2. Had it rebuilt twice. Used it as a hammer, screwdriver, scraper, pry bar, etc.

I had one, when I smoked. Had it rebuilt twice. The hinges would get loose. They always put in a new set of guts. Gave it to my nephew. Looked like this.

I only have one left, and it's older than dirt.  Never had a problem with it unless I overfilled it, and that's painful.
