    Do we now need grip safeties and trigger guards on Drills? Or just hire a licensed contractor when you need to install.......   Anything!

    No, not really. Trigger finger discipline carries over to other non shooting things where triggers are present. :)
    It sounds like the drill trigger got depressed from pressure on the trigger by his pants, and not by him actually actuating the trigger with his finger, though. Kinda stupid, in a way. You can buy a holster for a drill at most of the big box building suppliers. I have one; they work just fine, and the trigger is not in a position to be accidentally depressed.
