Went to the store and heard this on the news just now when I got back.

Sen Booker released Kavanaugh emails including post 9-11 discussions on racial profiling from the Bush admin.

They were marked Committee Confidential. He said it was his "Spartacus Moment" .................he may get thrown off the committee, I hope so, I'm tired of his nonsense, political jockeying for 2020 and showmanship.
Funny thing about those particular E-mails (They're already on the internet now) is that Kavanaugh was AGAINST racial profiling of folks from the sandbox post 9-11. Appears Corey Booker shot himself in both feet on that one.

The Left is lapping it up like a dog after a bowl of gravy. I was really wondering when they'd spring the 'basketful of bimbos' play like they did with Bork and Thomas.

Okay ... thie accusser supposedly had a lie detector administered by the FBI sometime ago regarding this and Feinstein waits until the 11th hour? It just seems sooooo convenient to get the confirmation vote pushed back after the midterms.

The Dems are so tight and play together so well they can hold off about anything with the media backing them, protesters on the steps and the Reps scared to challenge because it might cost them something. If the Reps work together as tightly as the Dems have we’d never have had Odumba Care along with the rest of his BS, we’d have National Reciprocity, the Hearing Protection Act in some form would have passed along with a bunch of other stuff. The Dems may not like each other but they can work together enough to beat the fractured Reps.

Dems are good at 'Dirty Pool' and they ,at least, pretty much stick together in unison.

Gonna be a 'He said, She said' type situation on the judge. Sounds far fetched all of a sudden she comes forth with 'Repressed Memories' that caused her trauma. I understand that was extracted by a psychologist she had sessions with.

They say it was high school students having a party and they all were pretty drunk.....we all know how crazy stuff happens when teenagers and alcohol meet up. I guess a third person was there (Mark Judge) and jumped on top of the two or somehow stopped it.

She has a right to be heard and she will get it, but I don't think in the end his nomination will be stopped, but delayed. Not until after the election as the Dems want, though.

Lordy, think of some of the antics you/we pulled in HS.

If he did it..... he is toast, but the whole thing smells. Why now, well because they will do anything to stop/delay his conformation.

He does not have a "Pattern" of such behavior or any other women coming forward like Cosby and Harvey Weinstein. Women who knew and dated him in HS and college said that is not the person they knew.

Maybe something happened to that women and it was not the judge who did it, she has mistaken him with someone else. Details are sketchy, she can't remember how she got to said party or how she left or exactly where it was.

Why didn't she tell her friends/parents or police at the time? She wanted to be unnamed, but got a lawyer and took a lie detector test. Not clear to me if DF or the news media or if she decided to out herself.

The judge has 65 women who vouch for his character. I believe from what I've seen he didn't do it.

Surely others who were at that party will come forward and at least be able to say if the judge was even there and where and when it was.

Her and his testimony will be interesting.

Being offended or upset by sexual assault is not being prudish.  Wouldn't you be upset of some guy held your daughter down and groped her against her will?

This is not to defend the woman making the claim that Kavanaugh did what she said she did, but more to a larger issue.

I am pretty sure that the woman is claiming he attempted to rape her. That goes beyond prudish. That said, I think her story is total BULLSHEISSE !!

Yea, that's my (badly expressed) point. Prudishness leads to prurient interest - its bull squeeze, everybody knows its bull squeeze, but it still gains traction.

His word against hers.  The person she says witnessed it denies it happened.  She can’t even recall the details.  Overwhelming character references from females including a relationship from that time of his life.  Accuser is a well known democrat supporter. Lawyer is a well known Democrat hack...
But is still gives all the haters fodder to lob. Bipartisanship is dead is Congress so now these votes are gonna come down to “appearance” and how many whimpy RINO Republicans will vote be because of what they’ll look like in the media swill instead of being based on solid facts and reasoning. Sorry but I can see at least a couple weak RINOs voting Nay and claim it was “in good conscience they just couldn’t vote for him” ...

Gary Johnson et al weren't Libertarians, they were out and out Socialists. Instead of being the party of "Liberty", they simply adopted the slavery of the Left. Being that I'm tired of the Slavery of both the Left and the Right, I really do wish the Libertarians would get their act together, but I don't see it happening...

    The woman accusing Kavanaugh:
    1. Doesn't remember what year it was the alleged incident occurred.
    2. Doesn't remember how she got to the house.
    3. Doesn't remember where the house was as to street.
    4. Doesn't remember anyone who attended the party other than Kavanaugh and the other man.
    5. Doesn't remember how she left the party to get home.

Given what she doesn't remember, I'd say that there is quite a bit of info that she doesn't remember.

It is NOT the job of the FBI to investigate crimes committed in a state. As a general rule, terrorism, bank robbery, rights violations, and hate crimes being a few of the exceptions of crimes in a state investigated by the FBI. Demanding the FBI investigate is a stupid demand given that the alleged crime has aged well past the statute of limitations, and it is not their job to investigate in the first place.

If the FBI is gonna investigate anyone, then Dianne Feinstein and her 20+ years of having a Chinese spy as her personal driver would be a good one for them to dig down and find the truth. Not gonna hold my breath on that one, though.

I think its time we recognize we are at war with the liberal side and act acoordingly.  The folks that we vote into positions of power know that is what their voters want and we should LOUDLY demand it from them.  Enough of this nonsense, let them burn down their local Starbucks as they loose their minds.  I’m done being conciliatory and inclusive since they show no inclination to even talk anymore.

I'm thinking that's never going to happen. Time to start looking at option 2,3 and  so on.

    It won’t EVER  happen.
“I’m gonna hold their feet to the fire!” is a GIANT line of BULL ****. The ONLY way to “hold their feet to the fire is vote their ass OUT. If that means NOT voting for the republican, that’s what it’s gonna take. But for most.....when  it comes time to pull that lever, it’s gonna be pulled for the guy with an R after his name....NO MATTER WHAT.

“But if we don’t vote for the R, even if he’s bad, the D will win! “

You're damn right. And within a cycle or two the R will figure out the people are **** pissed off. Then and ONLY then will things start to change. Till then, they know they are safe. They don’t HAVE to be good. They just have to be a little better than the Democrats, and the Republicans will vote for them.

You are spot on. To me voting don't mean much anymore. Good vs evil, Dems vs Rhinos, we are all voting for the same establishment. America won't survive many more of these voting cycles like this. Option 3.

This last presidential election is when I felt like I made a difference.  I did vote for a local D judge because his R opponent was a carpet bagger.  I vote for issues but the day a D supports gun rights, life, and capitalism, I'll be a supporter.  I'll jump on my flying pig and stop by polling station.

Well, it looks like the judge will testify Monday, but his accuser will not. Now they want an FBI investigation......which ain't gonna happen most likely. Not an FBI type crime anyway. Just more delaying tactics.

So I think unless something else comes to light and changes the direction it is heading, the committee will vote to move forward and have a full senate vote.

He probably will be voted into SCOTUS and it may or may not take the VPs vote to break a tie and get 51 votes.

Even Flaky Flake will probably vote yes if she doesn't testify. That is, based on what they already know about the judge who qualifies with flying colors.

What happens if she changes her mind and testifies in a closed door or open door hearing......................that may get interesting.

So it will boil down to whose testimony is more believable to those few senators who are undecided and standing on the fence and haven't decided which way to go.

I think this witch hunt is pure BS, but I don't see him being confirmed before the midterms, and that is most assuredly the point of all this.  Life in the swamp is 80% appearing to do things and 20% actually doing them... with that in mind, nobody who is the slightest bit concerned about reelection AND who has to actually consider their constituents will be willing to stick their neck out over this.  "Let's wait and see" will be the order of the day and "more of the same" will be tomorrow's.
