Doe down!

Been up in the hills for a few weeks trying to fill bear, elk and deer tags. Bear and elk were no luck, but i knew bear was a crap shoot. Elk were just too high and too far away. It's been incredibly hot and wet in colorado, so it's still green at 13k ft. Found since sign but it was a fool's errand. I couldn't get on any doe in my main area, but so i packed up and moved to my honey hole. Deer killed within 2 hours of having camp, shot her IN my camp!
Very impressed with the Thor mz bullets. Bullet entered in the front left shoulder, near head on shot at 15ft. Bullet traveled 4ft of deer and ended up right around the teats. Ruined the front shoulder, but she was dead within 10 yards and a blood trail Stevie Wonder could've seen in the dark. I recovered the bullet but haven't weighed it yet. Just got home and I'm relaxing after 7 hours of driving.
Pics to come soon.

If anyone has thought about trying Thor bullets, i will loan you my sizing pack. You've got to get the correct bore for them to work right. You start with .500 and keep shoving then down the barrel until you get the size that gives 20-30lbs resistance. These bullets only work on a correct bore, and they very. Sample kit has .500/.501/.502/.503
I spent all day sunday creeping back from Meeker way on back roads. No tags this year, but I got some woods time.
I really hate not being able to edit.
