Tomorrow is Veteran's Day, and it's less than one day and two hours to 11/11/11, the 11th month, 11th day, 11th hour when the Armistice was signed ending WW1. Time to reflect on all those veterans from 1776 to the present who served and the far too many who gave up all their tomorrows for our today. Give the veterans a shout out tomorrow when you see them.

In Flanders Fields

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
        In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
        In Flanders fields.
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer”
