White Christmas/New Years Eve

A few days ago I was lamenting the lack of snow Christmas day, we had some only it was fifteen miles East of our place. We got about six inches last night so we will have a white New Years Eve. It's supposed to go down to -°11 tonight.

I like one good deep snow a year around here. Stay a week and then leave.

Deep enough to take the quad in the fields and make donuts, and watch the freaks in jacked up 4WD pickups and Jeeps make fools of themselves on the road here and get stuck. And tell them my tractor won't start when it's below 65 degrees. :D If one of them ISN'T stuck I let them use my tow straps to extricate the one that IS stuck, unless it's in one of the hayfields, then it's a call to the Po-Po and they get wreckered out. Messin' up my hayfields is VERBOTEN!

We went from minimal snow to about 12" weds. into thursday, and it cooled off, squeaky snow last night.
