What is your favorite field shooting position?

For position I prefer prone, probably because that is how a very large and loud Sergeant taught me to shoot.  Real world Military and hunting experience taught me to use the steadiest that is available.  It seem like either a back pack or leaning against a tree is what I have used the most.

Leaning against a round bail.......or sitting!

Anything within range of the handgun gets the handgun. Outside that, the rifle.

    No opportunity lost.

Now, if you end up shooting one within handgun range by using the rifle.........well......you suck at resolve.
    That is very reasonable.
I have had a number of people tell me that they suck at resolve...

Well... not really. Some of  us are like Quigley. Can use a handgun, but have little "use" for one.
