A retired friend of mine called me the other day and asked if I was interested in a “nice muzzleloader?” Naturally I asked what it was and what kind of shape it was in. He told me just to meet. Well I did it turns out to be a johnathan Browning Mountain Rifle commemorative 100 year set, 425-1000 in 50 cal. These were made back in the late 70’s during the Moutan man craze but were dang nice rifles. Well a quick inventory of expendable rifles I came up with a browning a bolt I bought on closeout for $375 was just what he wanted. We struck a deal and I now own a Browning muzzleloader!
