RIA home for good!

i picked up my RIA 1911, 9mm from the Smith today. He installed a set of Trijicon night sites to replace the military GI sites. I put on a set of rosewood grips with nice texture. I’m pleased with how it turned out. When we lose some snow I’ll get some range time to adjust windage.
Ive only fires 3 mags through this pistol, using 3 different mags with 3 different types of ammo.  There were no failures. I got this GI model for $368 at Runnings. With grips, sights, Smith fees, it’s a $500 1911. I’m really hoping it’s as accurate as my other 1911’s.

It looks right at home with the others. No discernable difference at all.

My IT guy is with me at work today doing upgrades and asked me about 9mm's, you are enabling today, he is liking the CZ75 that CDNN is selling.

Looks great. Been wanting a RIA 1911 .45. It will most likely be next on the list.

The smith did a very nice job.  Clean finish on that one.
Accuracy: because white space between bullet holes drives me insane.

I think they're fine.  I've got one that has a better trigger than on my Commander.  They've also got great customer service,
Not too many problems you can't fix
