Our Government at work

''It's sad when a decorated US Veteran is injured in service and the government forces him to work off that debt. In 1973, Test pilot Steve Austin was nearly killed after crashing an aircraft, and his body was severely mutilated. With funding from a government agency known as OSI, Dr. Rudy Wells performs an experimental $6 million surgery, replacing Austin's missing arm, legs and eye with bionic implants that gave him superhuman strength, vision, and speed. Austin was forced to work as an OSI agent in return, answering to supervisor Oscar Goldman.''Lol!!! Funny!

Reminds me of a story I heard back in 87 about a Special Forces team that was sent to Central America to rescue a CIA operative only to be wiped out by an unseen enemy. Rumor has it that a portable nuke was detonated about the same time. Even more ridiculous, is that Ancient Aliens is doing a future episode on this story hypothesizing it was an alien who wiped them all out - Unfrigginbelievable!

I can understand Steve Austin's quasi-believable story (a Col. in the AF) but how did Jamie Summers pay for her enhancements? Or Max, the bionic dog 🐕? Imagine that vet bill.
    Rudy was a mad scientist!

Pfft... you think those stories are crazy, I've got one that you'll never believe happened.  But it did.

Did you hear about the crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit? These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire them.

Have you ever heard that story about a... Well, about a...

...a young loner on a crusade, to champion the cause of the innocent, the helpless, the powerless. In a world of criminals who operate above the law…

I remember reading something about the secret Vatican Archives suggesting that there might have been 15 original Commandments written on three stone tablets and Moses might have accidentally broke one.

You guys ever here about that other guy that was launched into space in 1987 on a deep space probe mission?
Something went amiss with his life support and he kinda froze up. But they did manage to thaw him out much later and now he works under a hot Colonel that wears a lot of lip gloss.
I here he likes his job, a lot.

Btw, does anyone remember that former Navy guy that worked in Hawaii for some rich dude. Then the Navy presses him into service again to fight some Russian dude. Of course, the Navy does it secretly and doesn't tell him. What's that about? I think his initials were TSM. He wore a mustache.
