    My dad was Army all the way, and contended that the Marines used ten man infantry squads vs the nine men squads in the Army, during WWII and Korea. He said the tenth man in the Marine squad was a PR guy.

    I used to enjoy flipping his switches, by bragging on the prowess of Marines. :)
