    Basically there’s 2 people under 40 and 1 under 30?

Then that means I'm older - and no doubt grumpier - than the average!

My Mom took me to see "Gone With The Wind" in 1939, before I was born! But I've only had 19 birthdays, since I was born February 29th, 1940. I still feel pretty good most of the time, and am thankful for it! So I've been around the sun 79 times so far and hope to loop it a few more.

Are you still climbing 14ERs, Paul?  Good to see you here again.

Hey, I'm not grumpy, but I am farting...  :D
But, can you do the sneezefart, and the coughfart, and the sneezepeefart and the coughpeefart? That is the true and inevitable end. And never trusting a fart goes with the territory, too. Makes you a bit grumpy when that happens. :)

No, I'm saying I wouldn't attempt any of those without my Depends.

I was born New Years day 1962 so that makes me 57 yrs 8 months and 30 days here.
I'm quite happy to go with 29 days to fit with your calendar if it helps lower the average age a bit.

My dance teacher was born in 1980. 1980!!! She's just a baby! She does claim that she knows what  a record player is though. Not sure about a typewriter...

To some I"m a wet behind the ears and to others I'm almost dead. Friday I hit 63 and to celebrate I cranked out my first century on the bicycle. 102 miles with 2,946 ft elevation gain which isn't much for the distance. The wind Goddess was fairly kind to me and no flats.
    At 63,  well done

That's a pretty impressive ride.  Great to hear that the wind stayed down.

    Nice...what were you riding?
2017 Specialized Roubaix. Been riding mountain bikes mostly and this is the first road bike I've owned in about thirty years.

I have an earlier Specialized Stumjumper hardtail. Wouldn't want to go 100 miles on it.
Funny, that's how I came to buy the road bike. In 2016 I road a supported ride called "The Tour de Manure" metric century. 62 miles on my Specialized Camber which loaded up weighs 42 pounds. Brutal.

Ask her if she's ever used a phone booth or been to the drive-in theater?

I miss the drive-ins. Lots of good memories there. 😍

When I was a teenager and dating, about the only place we had to go on a date was the local drive in.   Sometimes we even watched the movie.
